The new Equinox has a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four engine generating 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. Its engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and a standard front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive system. The new engine is an upgrade to the previous 1.5-liter inline-four gas engine that delivered 170 horsepower. Generally, the Equinox delivers smooth rides and better handling with the updated suspension, designed to deliver exceptional performance on and off-road. With a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, the Equinox is ideal for pulling a small trailer for your off-roading trips near North Charleston. You can also enjoy a reliable EPA-estimated fuel economy of 26/31 mpg city/highway for the FWD and 25/30mpg for the AWD.
Design
Stand out at the parking lot and on the road with Equinox's stylish exterior finishing, highlighted by standard LED headlights. Its LS entry model has 17-inch alloy wheels to complement the exquisite build. However, you can upgrade to the new Midnight Edition featuring 18-inch alloy wheels and black elements.
